Bar-code Discount

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC LS Retail we can define n number of barcodes for a single item. In LS we can also define discount for only single barcode. Consider a scenario where new lot of items have come with entirely new barcodes and all the items with old barcodes you want to put for clearance sales of 50%. Then this Barcode discount will be utmost assistant to you. 

Let us configure the same scenario.

1. Go to the item where you have defined more than one more barcode. I am using the item 1000. 

2. Open the barcode list of the item 

 

3. Use the same barcode as shown in above image to make a sale in POS

4. If you do the totals now system would trigger 50% discount on the barcode
